The Artiste in 3D blog hop

Welcome to our The Artiste in 3D Blog Hop!  There are so many fun features  in our Artiste Cricut cartridge that we decided to showcase many of the 3D Objects

In this hop, you will see a variety of projects featuring the 3D Object key of the Artiste but don’t worry, you won’t need special glasses to see them!  (But we do hope our projects will “stand out” to you.)

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy's blog – Love 2 Create If you came from Kindred Hearts of It Makes Total Cents then you are in the right place!

My project is this cute little 3D box, that is found on page 78 in the Artiste cutting guide, and the assembly instructions can be found in the assembly instructions guide on page 60. (The assembly instructions guide comes with the cartridge!) (3D object <thnkgvng>)
to cut the flower: shift 3D object <thnkgvng>

I used a piece of Flirty paper for both the box and the flower. In fact, I used one sheet of paper to cut both pieces. This is actually the second box I cut. On the first box, my cricut did not cut the little dashes at the bottom to allow the center bottom to fold in. (pic 2)

Next I folded in the petals, and secured them with glue dots to hold them in place. I used the handle side of my paper piercing tool to go through the hole in the bottom to help push the dots together.

I decided that my box could use a little bling, so I used Sparkle Flourishes to decorate the sides, and a little bling in the center of the leaf on the top.

Thank you for stopping by!

Make It From Your Heart

Today we will show you how to Make It From Your Heart!  Jeanette Lynton has created a brand NEW “how-to” program to not only guide you but also inspire you to create beautiful artwork.   This amazing publication has so many different pattern blueprints that you can interpret in ANY WAY you want!

Through our blog hop, we hope to inspire you to use your own artistic instincts to interpret and create your own artwork.  Each of our crafty consultants has chosen a different page of this book to create two projects for you – that’s right two projects with the SAME pattern!  One project will follow the blueprint pattern as laid out.  The second project will use the pattern “with a twist”  to show you how versatile the patterns are.

We are having a giveaway – that’s right blog candy for you hoppers!  Lucy of Love 2 Create will be giving away a copy of the Make It From Your Heart – Volume 1.  All you have to do to be eligible to win is to leave a comment on each blog.

If you just happened to come to this blog, you should begin your hop at the beginning at Lucy's blog - http://www.love2createitall.com.

If you came from Maria's, Maria's Paper Craft Place blog, you’re in the right place!

My project is ... This card I made using Make It From Your Heart page 45 pattern 25.

I have been a little bit of a Halloween mood, so I used the Moonlight workshop on the go kit. I cut the papers all according to the drawings on pg 45. I stamped the mummy in White Daisy ink, as well as the saying Happy Hauntings. There are 4 bling, one on each corner of the smaller black paper in the middle. For my second project, I created a 1 page layout.

This layout is also made with Moonlight paper. The lighter base page is 12x12, the purple pattern paper was cut to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2, the
grey was cut to 6 1/4 x 11. The bottom corner has 3 flowers that were cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, as well as a couple pieces of bling from the Sparkle Flourishes pack.I used Moonlight because I wanted to show that this paper could be used for any type of pictures. These pictures are of My oldest daughter Sidney when she was 10 months old. She is now 7! How time flies!
