CTMH convention

Hello!

This past weekend was the Close To My Heart annual convention, held in Las Vegas! It was soo much fun! We stayed at the Red Rock Resort hotel, which was absolutely beautiful! We had business classes, new product info, and beautiful artwork I can't wait to share with you all! For now, I have a few pictures to show you of my time at convention. They have announced that next year's convention will be in Provo, Utah. I am excited for that, as I have never been to Utah! We will be close to the home office for CTMH, so maybe we will get a tour! (they had a tour of the office at last year's convention, but I wasn't able to go)

These pictures: Sticky boy and his bride Sticky girl! A couple pictures of the hotel, The new Holiday SE that will go live in September (look for updates and pics soon!) Last picture is the artwork I shared at the Consultant showcase.

I will be posting new product info soon, as well as a few changes for the upcoming year.

Thanks for reading!

I'm back.... Again!!

Hello!

I have been absent for a very long time. That wasn't my intention, but life got in the way. I couldn't figure out how to be a mom, wife, work a full time job, AND keep up my blog with new and exciting Close To My heart crafty stuff, so I didn't.

This time around my kids are older, and they don't need to care for them in the way that I used to. Now, they can get their own lunches, clean up after themselves (sometimes :) ) and generally stay out of trouble, which leaves me a bit more time to get crafty!

My goal to start is a new blog post a week. I am still waiting for some new product to arrive, so a new post a week might not be until the end of the month. I can share with you that we will have a NEW Cricut cartridge!! Close To My Heart has once again created a wonderful cartridge, which  will be in my hot little hands as soon as I can get it!

I do have an online gathering set up on my shopping site, http://celebratecrafts.closetomyheart.com and if anyone still reads my blog (I hope so!) and places an order by the end of July, I will send you a little something from me, for free as a thank you for shopping with me. I do plan to have more fun things every month, so stay tuned!

If you still follow me after all of this time, thank you. I didn't intend to be a flake, lol!

Stay crafty my friends!
Theo

For my card, I decided to use the circle spin card (Z1866). I used Frosted paper, on the
outside of the card and on the inside, but the opposite side. I inked the edges of the papers with Champagne ink (Z2174), as well as the sentiment. It's hard to see, but on the "i" in bright, there is a bitty bling (z1263). The lantern is stamped in black (Z2105) and the candle
light is colored with a color pencil.

Sorry for the way the picture is. I could not find my camera, so I used my cell phone to take the pic.

Supply list:
Frosted paper pack: X7175B
Circle spin card: Z1866
Champagne ink: Z2174
Black ink: Z2105
Bitty bling: Z1263

The Everything's ABC's blog hop letter "U"

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter #. This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their # element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy

If you came from . Lisa Kmiec ~ Lisa's Stamping and Scrapping Spot  then you're on the right track!

For my "U" project, I decided to just use the letter U. This is a simple card, using white card stick as the base, black as the accent, then white again to show off the word missing (stamped in black) and the letter U, which is a silver letter U sticker.

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is  Shelly Nemitz ~ Just One Piece

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way :)
