The Everything's ABC's blog hop letter "O"

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter O.This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their O element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Traci Williams ~ Paper Crafting 101

If you came from "Shalana's blog Scrappin with Shalana"   then you're on the right track!

For my "O" I chose the Owl. There is an owl on the CTMH cricut cartridge, and I have been wanting
to make something with him for the longest time, and this was the perfect opportunity! I cut the back round out in chocolate card stock, and the feathers and face out with cashmere. the sentiment is from
a CTMH stamp set that is retired, and the sentiment is stamped in olive. The back round paper is also CTMH, from the retired paper pack Florentine.

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter "M". This may be the name of a paper,  a stamp set or an embellishment  Whatever the crafter has  chosen as their "M  element will be featured in their post.

I am the 1st of the three blogs you will visit today!

For my "M" I chose to give you all a sneak peek at 2 new products that will be available starting August 1st!
My "M" item is the new Mini's stamp set! Close To My Heart has 8 of these new sets, and the are perfect for our new circle spin cards! The back round paper is from our new paper pack Frosted, and the snowflake is stamped in Whisper ink. The circle is covered with slate card stock. The snowflake has also been stamped in whisper ink on the brown paper, in "second generation" (meaning the stamp was inked, stamped onto a scrap paper then onto the back round paper). All edges were inked in Whisper. The flower in the center is from the new Base & Bling.

I hope you enjoyed this card, my friend Katt helped with it.

Supplies:

Snowflake Stamp: M1031
Circle Spin cards:  Z1866
Base & Bling : Z1883
Whisper Ink : Z2172

My Sunshine

Welcome to our April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month's stamp from Close to My Heart is "My Sunshine" and is available exclusively through your Close to My Heart consultant from April 1 - 30, 2013. You can purchase this stamp set for only $5 with a qualifying purchase.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy's blog – Love 2 Create  If you came from  Jennifer of  4 Hearts Scrapbooking then you are in the right place!

For my project, I got my inspiration from the site splitcoast stampers. The technique
I used is called "bargello" and you can find a link for it HERE. For
my card, I decided to use the Chantilly paper pack. I thought that the
theme of the stamp set went well with the paper.

Select your patterned paper, and cut it a 3/4" x 6. Once you have done that, line them up on your 5x6 cut it a 3/4" x 6. Once you have done that, line them up on your 5x6 piece of card
stock in a pattern that you like, and adhere them down. Then cut pieces at 1/2"
    and 5/8".

     Adhere these to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of card stock, in a staggered manner,
creating a pattern. Adhere the strips. Trim the edges that may be over hanging,
then trim the whole thing down to 4 x 5 1/2.

For the bird, I stamp it in Twilight, and fussy (hand) cut him out. I could have used
my Artiste cartridge (pg 51, cut @ 1 1/2) to cut him out, but I wanted his wing left in.
For the sun, I cut it on the Artiste cart @ 3 1/2 inches. I stamped the sun in Sunny Yellow (retired)
and glued ot to the base. The white rectangle is cut at 2 1/2 x 3 3/4, and is popped up. The sun center
is also stamped in Sunny yellow. You're tweet is stamped in Twilight.

The Everything's ABC' blog hop letter "G"

If you are looking for the Artiste/Art Philosophy Bingo hop, click  HERE.

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter G. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their G element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy

If you came from Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy   then you're on the right track!

For my project, I used the letter "G" on the Art philosophy cartridge from Close To My Heart. I cut out the border using an old paper packet called Typeset for the back round, and a piece of  Cashmere card stock for the center. I cut both of  the images at 5 1/2. I decided to make this for my youngest daughter to put on her door. For the letters in her name, I used a green called Sweet Leaf. The letters are cut from Art Philosophy as well, and they are cut at  1 1/2. The purple felt banner at the bottom is from Queen and Co. I got it a few years ago at the CK convention when it was in town. The sparkles are from my stash. I hope you like it!

It's your birthday

If you are looking for The Everything's ABC's blog hop, go HERE.

Welcome to our January Art Philosophy Blog Hop! We are starting a new year of blog hops for you all featuring Close to My Heart's exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. The Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge is available exclusively through a Close to My Heart consultant.

This month we are featuring a "birthday" theme for you. In this hop, you will see projects featuring this versatile cartridge from many talented crafty ladies! Enjoy our blog hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy's blog – Love 2 Create

If you came from Kindred Hearts ~ It Makes Total Cents  then you are in the right place!

For my card, I used Saddle card stock. I cut the card using Art Philosophy cricut cartridge, page 26. To cut the card, make sure to choose the card button, then the button for this card is in the top row of the over lay with the heart on it.  I cut the card at 5 1/2, and stamped the sentiment in White Daisy pigment ink. I then added bitty sparkles around the edge of the cut out, as well as on the i in birthday, and the exclamation point. The Happy Birthday was stamped using the Part stamp set that comes with the Art Philosophy collection. I also used a sponge dauber to ink the edges of the card in White Daisy ink.

White Daisy ink:     Z2163
Bitty Sparkles         Z1263
